Know when something moves that shouldn’t.
For EPC contractors' yards, stores and fabrication areas.
Aztrax detects unexpected movement of industrial equipment and assets inside defined sites, yards and project areas — without putting GPS and a SIM on everything.

The problem isn’t always knowing where an asset is.
It’s knowing when it moves.

PHOTO 02 — UNATTENDED ASSETS ACROSS PERIMETERS AT NIGHT
A generator sits in a contractor yard.
A welding machine stays inside a fabrication area.
A cable reel remains in the material yard.
Nobody expects them to move tonight.
But at 02:17, one of them does.
Who knows?
Not every asset needs GPS.
If an asset normally stays inside a plant, yard or project site, you may not need continuous coordinates.
You need to know when it moves.
Where GPS Structurally Struggles on Industrial Sites
GPS was engineered for open highway transport. When applied to stationary physical inventory across contractor compounds and industrial plants, it hits physical and commercial limits:
Movement Detection Across Defined Sites
Separates the sensor from the network. Assets carry light, sealed motion sensors. One site gateway listens continuously across the plant perimeter:
Powered machines can certainly use wired GPS. Aztrax is for assets that stay in place, are unpowered or semi-stationary, or sit inside sites where a SIM tracker is impractical — tool kits, cable drums, gas cylinders, portable welding sets, and machines resting in contractor yards between shifts.
No location tracking outside site coverage. No route tracking. No off-site recovery. If your assets travel between cities on highways, use GPS. Aztrax is specifically for assets that live inside a site.
Only alerts that matter.
Legitimate equipment moves happen daily on active sites. A security system that sounds the alarm on every authorized work order quickly gets ignored or disabled.
Supervisor marks “Moving today”
Before shifting a welding inverter to Fabrication Bay 3 or moving a generator for scheduled maintenance, the area supervisor selects the asset from phone or WhatsApp.
Asset is silent for that window
The asset enters an approved moving state for the requested shift duration (e.g. 2 hours). Motion events are logged to the audit trail but zero sirens or emergency alerts fire.
Re-arms automatically
Once the authorized window expires or the asset settles into its new position, Aztrax re-arms detection automatically. No manual remember-to-lock step required.
Three things that shouldn’t move unnoticed.
Aztrax is intentionally not a universal tracking platform for consumer items. We focus on stationary and semi-stationary capital equipment where unexpected displacement creates serious operational disruption.
Diesel Generator Sets
“A DG set leaves the yard after hours.”
High-capacity generators are routinely parked in laydown areas, contractor compounds, and remote corners of refinery expansion sites. They are heavy, high-value, and assumed to be immobile without cranes or towing trailers. At night, unauthorized hitching happens fast.
Welding & Portable Inverters
“A contractor’s welding machine leaves its assigned area.”
Industrial welding machines, pipe-bevelling tools, and mobile compressors migrate constantly between contractors and sub-contractors on large EPC projects. They frequently disappear during shift handovers or get loaded into unauthorized pickup beds.
High-Tension Cable Reels
“A cable reel moves out of the designated material yard.”
Heavy wooden and steel reels containing expensive copper and high-voltage power cables sit in open material storage yards. Because they are heavy, they are left unprotected by indoor warehousing. Rolling or lifting a drum onto a flatbed takes less than ten minutes.
A small device. A site gateway. One clear event.
Bolted to the machine. Listened to by the site.
One gateway can serve many assets. The system does not stream heavy coordinates across satellites. An asset moves; the tag transmits; the site gateway reports; the responsible person acts.
Asset Tag
Bolted or magnetic-mounted on equipment. 3-axis accelerometer wakes on movement.
Local Radio
Sub-GHz signal penetrates steel containers, pipe racks, and heavy fabrication sheds.
Site Gateway
One shared gateway mounted on yard pole or office roof listens across the defined site.
Instant Alert
Event delivered to security desk and store manager in < 5 seconds with quick-reply buttons.

PHOTO 03 — CLOSE-UP FIELD MOUNTING ON HEAVY EQUIPMENT STEELWORK
No SIM per asset. Multi-year sleep architecture.
Unlike consumer tags (requiring nearby smartphones) or wired vehicle trackers (requiring alternator wiring and telco SIMs), Aztrax is self-powered. It rests asleep, wakes only when acceleration exceeds threshold, and transmits directly to the site gateway.
Start with one area. Prove it.
We’ll monitor movement, coverage, false alerts and operational value before you decide whether to scale.
Before commencing, we agree on measurable engineering criteria in writing so you have objective validation data:
- 01Detection Latency: Unauthorized physical movement detected within [X] seconds.
- 02False Alert Ceiling: No more than [Y] false alerts per week from ambient vibration.
- 03Capture Rate: Minimum [Z]% of all physical equipment shifts correctly logged.
At the conclusion of Day 30, you either convert to a paid commercial deployment or we remove the devices. There is zero lock-in and no obligation.
Built for real industrial conditions.
We do not manufacture consumer gadgets or claim enterprise scale before testing in dust, vibration, and monsoon conditions. These are genuine field records from active prototype evaluations.

Mounting & accelerometer calibration
Rigid mechanical attachment tested directly onto welded structural equipment frames. Vibration dampening algorithms isolate continuous engine oscillation from unauthorized physical towing or lifting displacement.

Sub-GHz propagation across heavy steel
Site gateway tested in high-interference industrial environments containing shipping containers, stacked pipe racks, and structural steel bays. Transmits over sub-GHz frequencies without requiring line-of-sight optical paths.

Clean telemetry log without coordinate noise
Real movement telemetry captured in the Aztrax event log. Rather than dumping continuous raw GPS coordinates, the system records the exact moment of displacement, duration of vibration, and gateway packet strength.
Built by industrial project engineers.
Aztrax is founded by an engineer with hands-on EPC and petrochemical project execution experience across industrial facilities in Haldia and Mumbai, and an active industrial monitoring deployment running at a Haldia plant.
